Saint Liliynn, Mother of the Church of Ründ - Classic Semi-Glossy Paper Poster
from $17.00
Mother of the first Pope-King of Aryna, Mother Liliynn was always a paragon of the faithful. Even when the truest of evils threatened to destroy the fledgling religion, St. Liliynn sacrificed herself to save her people and a faith she held so dear. She lived her life in service to others, and always showed grace to those in need. Many did not understand why she had to leave, but the legend goes that a demon slithered into the chambers of the new Pope-King, planning to devour the holy babe in its cradle. But the wise and kind Liliynn, offered herself as a substitute for her own child, saying that when she died, the demon was allowed to come back for the babe, until then no demon was to step foot in the kingdom of Aryna. The demon recklessly accepted the accord, and took her to the frozen hells, where she now resides in pain and torment upon a pyre of living flame. She was granted two items to take with her: She chose a scroll containing the divinely inspired words of Lord Ründ, to keep her heart and mind free of corruption, and her very own wand. A magical item that allows her to hear the prayers of her people, those prayers keep her immortal, and help ensure the demons will never step foot in Aryna ever again.
